Hank B. Swartout
Chairman
Mr. Swartout is a professional engineer and independent businessman, with interests in the oil and gas industry and real estate development. He is the former Executive Chairman and Founder of Precision Drilling Corporation, Canada's largest oil well drilling contractor, with one-third of Canada's available oil well drilling rig fleet and one-quarter of the country's oil well service rigs. Mr. Swartout is a graduate of the University of Wyoming where he earned his Honours Petroleum Engineering degree.
M. Bruce Chernoff
Mr. Chernoff is a Professional Engineer with over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He has held various senior positions including Executive Vice President and CFO with Pacalta Resources Ltd. Mr. Chernoff is President of Caribou Capital Corp. and is a director of several other public companies including Harvest Energy Trust, of which he is the Chairman of the Board. He received a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from Queen's University.
John A. Brussa
Mr. Brussa has been a partner at Burnet, Duckworth & Palmer LLP in Calgary since 1987. He is recognized as a leading tax practitioner in Canada, is the Chairman of Penn West Energy Trust and sits on the board of directors of several Canadian public companies.
David J. Rain
Mr. Rain is a Chartered Accountant with 20 years of industry experience. He has served in senior financial positions at Nowsco Well Service Ltd, Trican Well Service Ltd., Pacalta Resources Ltd. and Harvest Energy Trust. He received his Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Saskatchewan.
COMMITTEES
The Board has established an Audit Committee comprised of David Rain and Bruce Chernoff; and a Governance and Compensation Committee comprised of John Brussa and Bruce Chernoff. All committee members are independent of the Corp. |
